list_topic_opinions

Top-level opinions on a topic (replies stay behind reply_count). Each opinion carries the side its author argues for (side_option_id), so sentiment is directly readable rather than inferred from the text. Scope: read · Annotations: readOnlyHint REST equivalent: GET /open/v1/topics/{id}/opinions

An opinion is SeeSaw’s unit of discussion — it is not a generic comment. It always argues for a side: the author’s position if they hold one, otherwise the side they picked when publishing (publishing is free and needs no position). Other users spend coins to back the opinions they agree with.

Returns

next_back_price_coins is what the key owner would pay to back that opinion right now. It is null when they cannot back it — already backed, or trading has closed — so an agent never sees a quote it cannot act on. image_urls lists images attached in the SeeSaw app — [] when there are none, never null. An image-only opinion has an empty content. The Open API reads images but cannot publish them. Example:
